Your New Practice

They work alongside their clients and their families to achieve in all areas of daily life. Their services include psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy and dietetics.
Their holistic practice works collaboratively with other community agencies and is responsive to clients’ requirements.
They offer a range of approaches to meet the needs of their clients. These may include home, school and daycare visits and a wide range of group programs.
Your New Practice
Our client is a professional, multidisciplinary allied health service delivering client-centred, evidence-based assessments and interventions for children, young people and their families.
The practice works collaboratively with families, schools, early learning centres and community agencies to support participation across all areas of daily life. Services include Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Dietetics.
A flexible service model is offered, including clinic-based services, telehealth, home, school and daycare visits, group programs, and outreach services to regional and remote communities when required.
Your Next Director
You will be supported by a warm, approachable and highly experienced Director, an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities.

The Roles – Psychologists & Occupational Therapists
The practice is currently recruiting qualified Psychologists and Occupational Therapists to join its growing paediatric team. Each clinician will work within their professional scope of practice, contributing discipline-specific expertise within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities (All Clinicians)
Provide assessments, interventions and clinical consultations for children, adolescents and families
Work with a predominantly paediatric caseload
Deliver services in-clinic, via telehealth, and where appropriate in homes, schools, kindergartens and childcare centres
Collaborate with families, educators and community stakeholders
Participate in interdisciplinary planning and case discussions
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and reports
Deliver services aligned with ethical, evidence-based practice standards
Additional Responsibilities – Psychologists
Conduct psychological and psychometric assessments
Provide clinical consultation, assessment and advice to clients, families and care teams
Apply a psychological framework to guide therapy planning and interventions
Support children and young people presenting with developmental, behavioural and mental health concerns
Additional Responsibilities – Occupational Therapists
Conduct developmental, functional and participation-based assessments
Provide early intervention and ongoing therapy for infants, preschool and school-aged children
Address challenges impacting engagement in daily occupations
Conduct home and community-based assessments where appropriate
Apply an occupational therapy framework to guide intervention planning
Essential Qualifications & Registration
Psychologists
Recognised tertiary qualification in Psychology
General or Clinical Psychologist registration with AHPRA
Overseas applicants must be eligible for AHPRA registration (or due within three months)
Experience in paediatric practice and psychometric testing highly regarded
Occupational Therapists
Degree in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration
Experience working with a paediatric population highly regarded
Employer sponsorship may be available for suitable overseas candidates
Skills & Attributes (Both Roles)
Ability to build rapport with children, families and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Initiative, self-motivation and professional integrity
Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
Genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
Mandatory Requirements
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
WA Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain)
Current CPR certification (within the past three years)
WA Department of Education Screening
Ability to use own vehicle and mobile phone when required
