YOUR NEW EMPLOYER
A well-established fabrication workshop in the Perth metropolitan area is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join its team. The business operates dedicated stainless steel and mild steel facilities and fabricates components for a range of sectors, including defence, health, mining, and construction.

YOUR NEW ROLE
A full-time opportunity exists for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join the workshop team. This hands-on position offers variety and the chance to work across both mild steel and stainless steel production in a busy fabrication environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating CNC press brake machinery for the fabrication of steel components
Working with stainless steel and mild steel plates ranging from 1mm to 20mm
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications
Setting up machines, performing adjustments, and ensuring accuracy
Producing high-quality work across a diverse range of pressing tasks
Assisting with general workshop duties as required

YOUR PROFILE
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience, precision, and a strong commitment to quality. You will need:
A minimum of two years of recent CNC press brake operating experience
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
Strong capability working with stainless steel and mild steel plates
Ability to accurately read drawings and set up machinery
Experience programming CNC press brakes
A broad range of pressing experience in previous roles, including complicated bends
Additional workshop skills will be highly regarded
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and reliability
