Your New Role:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of projects, including structural steel, fabrication, and infrastructure. This role will involve liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, working closely with the engineering and project management teams, and ensuring estimates are delivered on time and in compliance with industry standards.

As well as this, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing project plans, specifications, and tender documentation.
Preparing detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Maintaining up-to-date pricing records and industry knowledge.
Assisting in project budgeting and bid submissions.
Your Profile:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel fabrication, construction, or engineering industries.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good organisational and time-management abilities.
Experience in steel fabrication and erection is highly regarded.
