Western Australia
Clear pathway to business ownership
Established, community-loved venue with loyal customers
Outstanding lifestyle location for business and family life
Your New Company:
A well-established, locally loved café and restaurant located in Western Australia. The business is known for its welcoming atmosphere, high-quality food and beverages, specialty coffee, and strong connection to the local community.
This café-restaurant prides itself on warm, genuine service, a loyal repeat customer base, and a menu that reflects both comfort favourites and authentic international flavours. The environment is fast-paced yet family-oriented, with a strong focus on consistency, quality and customer experience.
The current owners are seeking a committed hospitality professional who not only wants to manage the business but is genuinely interested in stepping into ownership in the short term.
Your New Role:
The Café & Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the venue.
Working closely with the owners, you will lead the front-of-house team, oversee service standards, manage rostering and stock, and ensure the business continues to deliver exceptional customer experiences while operating efficiently and profitably.
This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who sees this position as more than a management role, someone who is commercially minded, invested in the long-term success of the business, and in a position to purchase the business from the existing owners.
As well as this, you will be responsible for the following:
Managing daily café and restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
Leading, training and motivating front-of-house staff to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service
Creating and managing staff rosters in line with operational needs and labour budgets
Overseeing stock control, ordering, supplier relationships and inventory management
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety regulations
Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service at all times
Handling customer feedback professionally and resolving issues promptly
Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve revenue and efficiency
Supporting promotions, special events and community-focused initiatives
Working collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Your Profile:
You are an experienced café or restaurant manager with strong operational and people-management skills, and a genuine desire to take long-term ownership of a hospitality business.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate leadership, accountability and commercial awareness. You are hands-on, dependable, and capable of running the business as if it were your own.
As well as this, you will have the following:
Proven experience managing a café or restaurant
Strong leadership and staff-management capability
Experience with rostering, stock control, supplier management and cost control
Commercial awareness and an understanding of hospitality business performance
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements
Confidence using POS systems and basic reporting tools
Financial readiness and a genuine interest in purchasing the business in the short-term
Why join this progressive hospitality business?
Full-time leadership role with long-term stability
Competitive salary package, based on experience
Rare opportunity to step into a proven business with an established customer base
Structured handover and mentoring from existing owners
Opportunity to grow into business ownership over time
Supportive, community-focused working environment
