Biddio Pty Ltd (ABN 82691074389) (“Biddio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Biddio online marketplace in Australia.

What we collect
Account data
Name, email, phone (if provided), username, password (hashed).
Marketplace activity
Listings, bids, purchases/sales activity, messages, watchlists, and wallet/credit balances plus credit debits and credits (transaction history).
Payment data
Processed by our payment providers; we receive limited tokens/IDs and status (not full card details).
Device & usage
IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed, referral info, approximate location, cookies/analytics events.
If you browse as a guest (not logged in), we may still collect device/usage data for security, fraud prevention, and performance monitoring.
Support & safety
Reports, communications with support, fraud/risk signals, and logs.
Why we collect it (purposes)
Run the marketplace
Create/manage accounts, listings, bidding, wallet top-ups (where applicable), messaging, and account/service emails.
Safety & compliance
Verify activity, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce platform rules, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Improve Biddio
Performance monitoring, debugging, analytics, new features and user experience.
Marketing (optional)
Send product and platform updates if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime).

Children & age limits
Biddio is intended for individuals 16 years and older. We do not knowingly allow users under 16 to register or use the marketplace. If you believe a child under 16 has used Biddio, contact support@biddio.com.au and we’ll take appropriate action.
Why 16+? As an auction marketplace involving payments and contractual obligations, a minimum of 16 provides a safer baseline. (Sellers may be restricted to 18+ under the Terms.)
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service can be 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the platform or the law. We’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
